A truly effective method is to reveal the joy of God in people’s hearts. Chains loosen with the joy within us and within others.

God's presence moves from His heart to the heart of David, then to Solomon, and continues to Jesus.

David said, “It is I who have sinned; it is I, the shepherd, who have done wrong.”
This is the key answer of the first reading. David’s sin continues to haunt him. He would have done well to surrender everything to the Lord and place his trust in God, but that wasn’t the way things were done in those days.

“He was not able to perform any mighty deed there.”
When people are closed to God’s presence, they hurt themselves and can hurt others.
Let us receive the Lord’s grace and observe his presence in our lives and in the lives of others.
