Worse than Germany: On 1 May, Don Dino Rampazzo celebrated a Eucharist outside Bar Grumo in Valdagno, Diocese of Vicenza, Italy. The event was part of a series of “traveling Eucharists” held in local neighbourhoods instead of churches. More than 80 people attended the service, which ended with drinks provided by the bar. Don Rampazzo said the initiative was intended to reach people outside traditional church settings, responding to criticism by saying: “God is wherever people are.”

How Britain and France Secretly Divided the Middle East in World War I: The Sykes‑Picot Agreement In the middle of World War I, on May 16, 1916, a secret agreement was signed by Great Britain and France that would shape the fate of millions of people to this day: the Sykes-Picot agreement. It divided the Middle East into two major influence spheres under British and French control. British diplomat Mark Sykes had drawn the borders of this so-called Sykes-Picot agreement arbitrarily and hastily, without taking into account geographical, ethnic, religious or demographic borders. Even if the Sykes-Picot agreement didn’t exactly determine the post-war borders, it paved the way for the time after the First World War, where France and Britain ruled large parts of the region. The agreement, which was made public in 1917, marked a turning point in Western and Arab relations and triggered the conflicts in the Middle East that last to this day. Over a hundred years later, the Sykes-Picot agreement …'Besdal
Rev Gerd Neumeier of the Archdiocese of Bamberg has justified his “Star Wars” service held on April 18 talking to Katholisch.de on May 3. Neumeier emphasized that it was not a Eucharist, but a Liturgy of the Word. The Church’s liturgy is “diverse”, he said: “When people hear the word ‘church service,’ most associate it with the same Mass over and over again, especially in connection with a priest.” The event began with a lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and a Jedi knight. This was followed by the Kyrie, a first reading, Psalm 27, the Hallelujah, and the Gospel account of the temptations of Jesus. According to Neumeier, Star Wars, with its themes of good and evil, light and darkness, is a perfect bridge to an encounter with God. Neumeier announced that the format would be repeated: “Because the first one was received so well, we believe we are moving in a good and sustainable direction.” The Star Wars service is part of the “bookable church services” project of the youth office …'Besdal

redpillbot @redpillb0t Historian Bill Federer: “They say that by 2030, there will be a majority Muslim population in Europe, and they'll just flat out vote in Sharia law. It won't just be no go zones where they take over entire neighborhoods in Paris or around Belgium and London. No, they'll take over entire cities. And people forget, Egypt was completely Christian for six centuries. It's not anymore. All of North Africa was completely Christian for six centuries. It's not anymore. All of Turkey, all seven churches as mentioned in the book of Revelation, were all in Turkey. And they were all taken over by the Muslim Turks. Constantinople was the largest Christian city in the world, and the largest Christian church in the world for hundreds of years was the Hagia Sophia. And it got turned into a mosque. And so they want to do the same thing with the Vatican. And recently they allowed Muslim prayers in the Vatican. So we see that it's headed in that direction.“
A advertisement for a French perfume brand appeared on the LED screens covering the façade and apse of Rome’s Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. This prompted a group of residents and worshippers from the Monti district to send a protest letter to the Archpriest Rolandas Makrickas, criticising what they described as the “commercialisation” of the historic basilica. The screens were installed during restoration works that began in late 2024. Back then, Vatican officials said the advertising revenue helps cover renovation costs ahead of the Jubilee.
Monasteries and spiritual centers in Spain are increasingly hosting yoga congresses and New Age-inspired events. The latest controversy emerged at the Castle of Javier in Navarra - the birthplace of St. Francis Xavier and a Jesuit-run spiritual center. It hosted the XII Iberian Yoga Congress organized by the Spanish Yoga Federation (FEYS) from May 1–3. Around 250 participants attended workshops featuring mantra concerts, Eastern spirituality, meditation, and yoga practices. Images show participants meditating before Jesus Christ placed alongside figures of Buddha and Krishna. Activities reportedly included sessions titled “Awakening of the Soul,” “Essene Mantras,” and “108 Sun Salutations.” According to InfoVaticana, similar gatherings have also been held at Catholic properties such as the Marist monastery of Las Avellanas, the Franciscan sanctuary of Aránzazu, and the Teresian-Sanjuanist International Center in Ávila. At the same time, Spain continues to experience a sharp decline …'Besdal
Synod Report Is a Subversive Attempt to Overthrow Catholic Morality: Speaking to EWTN, Rev Gerald Murray blasted the Vatican’s Synod Study Group number 9 report as “horrific,” calling it “a subversive attempt to overthrow Catholic morality on the question of homosexuality.” He warned that “the Synod office is now just another public relations arm of that pressure group,” before adding: “They’re setting out to normalize homosexuality in the life of the church.” Rev Murray also said: “If God made you a homosexual, then how could He stop you from exercising your homosexuality by engaging in homosexual acts, namely, sodomy?”
Fr. Gerald E. Murray on EWTN: "And the document, the report of study group number nine is horrific. I'll say that quite clearly. I've read that document. I find it to be a subversive attempt to overthrow Catholic morality on the question of homosexuality. And this is a really, really crucial moment for the church because. The program of subversion in plain sight of Catholic teaching on the immoral nature of homosexual activity and the disordered nature of the homosexual inclination, this is a number one target for some people in the church. And sad to say, the Synod office is now just another public relations arm of that pressure group."
Cardinal Bernardin, Arch Bishop Weakland . McCarrick ....etc been promoting homosexuals during the great JPII give me a break like this just happened over night. BXVI in power since 1980s maybe he was homosexual snake
Honoring Mom on Mother’s Day brought me to Robert Frost’s most famous poem and its deepest meaning about life, loss, and hope. You may remember a post I wrote a few years ago entitled “A Corner of the Veil.” It was about my mother, Sophie Kavanagh MacRae, who died on November 5, 2006 during my 12th year in prison. That hasn’t stopped her from visiting, however. I had a strange dream about her a few nights ago, and I keep going back to it trying to find some meaning that at first eluded me. The United Kingdom celebrates Mothering Sunday on the Fourth Sunday of Lent, but in North America, Mother’s Day is on the second Sunday of May. I wonder if that was what prompted my vivid dream. It was in three dimensions, sort of like looking through one of those stereoscopic View Masters we had long ago. Pop in a disk of images and there they were in three dimensions and living color. My dream was like that, even the color — which is strange because I am colorblind since birth. My rods and cones …
May 10th - Saint of the Day: Saint John of Ávila, Priest & Doctor of the Church He wanted to be a missionary overseas… but God made him a firestarter at home.Saint John of Ávila became known as the Apostle of Andalusia, preaching through southern Spain with the kind of boldness that made sinners wake up, saints rise up, and the Church remember what true reform looks like. Here’s the wild part: he was once imprisoned by the Inquisition, later cleared, and eventually declared a Doctor of the Church. From prison cell to spiritual giant. That is Catholic history at full volume. He helped inspire Saint John of God, Saint Francis Borgia, and Saint Teresa of Ávila. He preached Eucharistic reverence, priestly holiness, repentance, charity, and real love for Christ. His advice for preaching well was simple: “Love God very much.”Saint John of Ávila reminds us that holiness is not soft, boring, or outdated. It is disruptive. It changes people. It reforms …'Besdal
Hl. Er hinterließ zahlreiche Schriften, u.a. über die Eucharistie, und Marienpredigten.
