Ambientes, costumes, civilizações - O livro "Revolução e Contra-Revolução" posto em termos concretos
Uma "visita" ao edifício onde fora a sede da Presidência e do Conselho Nacional da TFP brasileira, à Rua Maranhão, n.° 341, São Paulo, solenemente inaugurada em 25 de dezembro de 1970, e que assim foi conservada até alguns anos atrás. Nela, o Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira (1908-1995) costumava trabalhar, receber visitantes, como também jornalistas - do Brasil e do exterior - para entrevistas. Eis uma explicação daquela sede dada por aquele intelectual e líder católico em uma entrevista à agência Reuters (de 16-10-1973): "Quanto à sede, é preciso explicar o objetivo dela, para entendê-la bem. A cidade de São Paulo é uma cidade muito moderna. Para dar uma idéia de tradição, para eles, e para os militantes que são, muitas vezes, rapazes de famílias modestas, nós organizamos essa sede, que é uma sede que representa um interior de casa tradicional de São Paulo, antes da modernização. Então, é uma casa antiga, que nós arranjamos um pouco e os móveis foram todos emprestados pelas pessoas mais ricas do Movimento. De maneira que o Sr. tem aí muitas curiosidades, móveis bonitos, etc., mas que são franqueados para qualquer rapaz da TFP, mesmo de ambientes muito modestos. Não é, portanto, um clube de luxo, como poderia parecer. Um clube de luxo, feito para gente de luxo. E' uma espécie de ambiente tradicional, criado para gente de todas as classes sociais." As fotos representam como era aquele edifício - seja na sua apresentação exterior como interiormente - até meados de 2004.

A “visit” to the building that was once the headquarters of the Presidency and National Council of the Brazilian TFP, at Rua Maranhão, No. 341, São Paulo, solemnly inaugurated on December 25, 1970, and which remained so until a few years ago. There, Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira (1908-1995) used to work, receive visitors, as well as journalists—from Brazil and abroad—for interviews. Here is an explanation of that headquarters given by that intellectual and Catholic leader in an interview with Reuters (on October 16, 1973): "As for the headquarters, it is necessary to explain its purpose in order to understand it well. The city of São Paulo is a very modern city. To give them a sense of tradition, and for the activists, who are often young men from modest families, we organized this headquarters, which represents the interior of a traditional São Paulo home, before modernization. So, it is an old house, which we refurbished a little, and the furniture was all borrowed from the wealthiest people in the Movement. So, there are many curiosities, beautiful furniture, etc., but they are available to any young man from the TFP, even those from very modest backgrounds. It is not, therefore, a luxury club, as it might seem. A luxury club, made for luxury people. It's a kind of traditional environment, created for people of all social classes."
